At GA Aerospace, every aircraft is a carefully managed build project, not simply an assembly job. Because each aircraft is built to its owner's configuration, we schedule builds in seasonal windows: Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. Your reservation holds your place in a window while we work together to define your aircraft; you don't need to finalize every detail today.

How reservations work:
1. Reserve your window. Complete the $8,000 deposit online. It's credited 100% toward your aircraft, and you receive your build window confirmation in writing.
2. Build consultation. We'll schedule a personal consultation to understand how you'll use your aircraft and walk through configuration, avionics, powerplant and propeller, interior, lighting, and exterior finish.
3. Define your aircraft. In the months before your window, we develop your configuration together. Some options depend on build stage and availability, so we guide you through each decision when you need it. This includes working with an external vendor such as: avionics shop or paint scheme designer of your choice.
4. Get build-ready. At least 45 days before your window opens, sign your Build Agreement, make your initial build payment (your $8,000 deposit is applied to it), and have your first kit delivered at our warehouse in AZ (or a confirmed delivery date within your window).
5. Receive your firm start date. Once #4 is met and no later than 30 days before your window opens, we commit to a firm start date in writing.
6. Your aircraft enters build. Our team manages the build through the agreed scope, from preparation and structural assembly through systems installation, finishing, inspection, and delivery, with transparent, regular updates along the way via our proprietary build log system at:

No two customer builds are exactly alike. Configuration, available options, component lead times, and the progress of other aircraft in build can all affect the timing and scope of a build.
For that reason, we believe in maintaining direct communication with our customers throughout the process rather than promising a hard build date months in advance.
We'll discuss your expected timeline with you directly, provide updates as your position approaches, and work together to make sure your aircraft is ready when its build position arrives.
FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
Is the deposit refundable? It's credited 100% toward your aircraft and transferable with our approval. It holds a place our build schedule commits to you, so it's non-refundable, with one exception: if we miss your firm start date by more than 45 days for reasons on our side, you get a full refund.
Why a window instead of an exact date? Build schedules depend on kit deliveries and the progress of aircraft already in our hangar. Seasonal windows let us plan reliably; we commit to a firm start date no later than 30 days before your window opens, once you're build-ready.
What if the kit manufacturer delays my kit? Your build moves to the next available window, with no penalty to you and your deposit is fully credited.
What if I need more time? You can move to a later window once at no cost, either by request (with 60 days' notice) or if you aren't build-ready in time. A second delay may release your reservation.
Can I transfer my reservation or change aircraft? Yes, with our approval: to another buyer, or to a different kit aircraft model.
What does "build-ready" mean? Signing the Build Agreement, making the initial build payment (less your $8,000 deposit), and having your kit at our hangar (or a confirmed delivery date within your window), at least 45 days before your window opens.
